Film production

For director Johanneke Dijkstra, I produced the short film "KRIICH," which screened at the Northern Film Festival and the Tallinn Film Festival, among others. In Galway, I produced a screening and Q&A with the local sailing club to highlight the parallels in identity development between Frisians and the Irish.

For sustainability strategist Datamaran, I secured the Guggenheim NYC as the location for the Climate Week NYC event, including a film premiere, a round table and networking social, in collaboration with We Are Bon Vivants

Claudy Jongstra x ITGWO

Claudy and Jesk Jongstra opened a dye lab during ITGWO to jointly raise awareness of global pollution caused by the textile industry. Visitors had their clothing dyed with local plant-based raw materials as a festival souvenir.

MUD-EATERS / GRASS-FED revolves around the goose, which remains underutilized in the Netherlands. We're using the whole animal in a menu focused on the sustainable protein transition during the Grasnapolsky festival in the arable province of Groningen

With chef and hunter Arjen Biesma, I programmed a game dinner with a game workshop at Het Lage Noorden, to clean game together with guests and to discuss the waste of game.

I co-created the short documentary "Onsje Minder" with filmmaker Menno Boersma. In the film, farmer Sjoerd of Tuin van de Toekomst (Garden of the Future) discusses the current food system and the laws of permaculture.

The Northern Film Festival requires over 200 volunteers to produce, and I coordinated them. I was also the festival's sustainability coordinator.
